Farmer's market opens on July 4th in Vratsa, Bulgaria

Over 30 producers from the country and the region will take part in the farmers' market organized by the Municipality of Vratsa, which will be held on July 4 and 5.

The range of ecologically clean products that will be presented includes - fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables and spices, bee, dairy and meat products, bakery products and fruit syrups.

There will be offered some attractive organic products, including - green cheese, refined mountain oil, snail extract, crocus, babek, bahur, strawberry brandy, a special selection of cranberry, elderberry and ginger syrups.

Currently, applications for participation have been submitted by producers from the city and settlements, as well as from Stara Zagora, Bratsigovo, Yambol, Plovdiv and Montana. Mayor Kalin Kamenov commented that holding such a market is an opportunity for Bulgarian producers to sell their products. "The situation in the country in recent months due to the coronavirus is a challenge not only for people but also for business. The farmers' market is an anti-crisis measure that will allow local traders to present their own organic products. My team and I anticipate that such events will become a tradition. "

The event will be held in front of the local administration building, with working hours from 09:30 to 17:30.
