In the 19-22.02.2020 period, within the project "BALKANET - Balkan Network for Sustainable Innovative Ideas in the Agriculture and Food Sector", co-financed by the Operational Program for Cross-border Cooperation “Balkan-Mediterranean”, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Vratsa, participated with a delegation of companies and innovators, at the AGRA2020 International Exhibition which took place at the Plovdiv International Fair. AGRA2020 is the largest economic event for agribusiness in Southeastern Europe. It attracts leading manufacturers and traders, and more than 40,000 visitors.
The united stand of the project presented products from the sector of food industry, processing and processing of production, packaging and marketing, from the partner countries of the project - Bulgaria, Greece and Albania.
Within the framework of the exhibition, CCI Vratsa held a thematic seminar "Innovation in the agro-food sector - the road to sustainable transnational cooperation in the Balkan Mediterranean Area".
Topics such as "green" and innovative start-ups, "good practices" in the region, first steps in agrofood marketing, and more were discussed in various sessions. In addition, bilateral business meetings were held with the project partner countries.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Vratsa received a Special Award for their contribution to the enrichment of the AGRA International Exhibition - a huge honor and recognition for us!
There was an incredible interest in the companies and innovators involved in the project. They were also honored with the Certificate of Product of the International Fair Plovdiv. In addition, representatives of the Bulgarian delegation also won the Consumer Choice Contest.
