Farmers can apply for three state aid schemes from March 9th

     From March 9, the State Agricultural Fund opens the adoption of 3 state aid schemes - "Aid to compensate the costs of farmers related to the implementation of measures under the" National Program of Measures for the Control of Tomato Mining Moth - Tuta absoluta Meyrick (Lepidoptera) " , "Aid for certification of holdings in the GLOBALG.AP Fruit and Vegetables Sector" and "Aid to compensate farmers' costs related to the implementation of measures under the" National Program of Measures for the Control of Soil Pests of "Elateridae" Worms ".

    Acceptance of applications under the mole control scheme will continue until 30 September. For the current year, the budget in this area is BGN 500 thousand. The subsidy amount will cover up to 100% of the price of the purchased pests and preparations, cannot exceed the amount of 2500 BGN / ha with VAT.

    Documents under the GLOBALG.A.P farm certification scheme. will be accepted until September 30. The Board of Directors of the State Agricultural Fund allocated BGN 100,000 under the scheme. The support shall target small and medium-sized enterprises as well as recognized groups or organizations of producers of fruit and vegetables.

    Potato growers can apply for pest control support by May 15th. The financial resources under the scheme are 1.8 million BGN for 2020. The support can be used by small and medium-sized enterprises - farmers who grow potatoes in areas over 1 ha.

    Farmers can apply under the three schemes in the regional directorates of the State Agricultural Fund. The instructions are published on the website of the State Tax Fund.
