The emergency measures due to the coronavirus have made many farmers think about when and what investments to make. The time now seems appropriate to make plans and look for new niches for realization.

In the Netherlands, agricultural activity also continues, and its latest pride is a modern greenhouse covering 14,000 square meters in the town of Maasland. Its opening is scheduled for May 26, when any manufacturer, regardless of which part of the world it is located, can virtually peek into it. The demonstration center is profiled for tomato selection - 800 new hybrids have been tested and selected for specific market needs. The project took only one year to complete. The greenhouse is designed to mimic the real conditions of farmers, offering different sections of lighting and full climate control.

For farmers who want to see the future of tomatoes, a special area of 1500 square meters has been set aside. The organizers rely on digital communication to overcome the current physical limitations and therefore the opening of Tomato Vision will be online.
