Producers of fruits, vegetables, oil-bearing roses and vineyards receive over BGN 19 million

The Management Board of the State Fund for Agriculture distributed BGN 19,363,000 million under the de minimis aid to farmers growing fruits and vegetables, vineyards and oil-bearing roses, as well as to farmers with lost areas (fruits and vegetables) below 100%. Support is provided to producers to cover losses due to drought and as relief from the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

Support rates are:

• Potatoes, onions and garlic - up to BGN 150 / ha;

• Potatoes (for registered areas for phytosanitary control in the BFSA until July 31, 2020) - up to BGN 400 / ha;

• Carrots, cabbage, watermelons and melons - up to BGN 150 / ha;

• Tomatoes, cucumbers, gherkins and eggplant - up to BGN 200 / ha;

• Pepper - up to BGN 300 / ha;

• Vegetables - greenhouse production - up to BGN 2,000 / ha;

• Apples, pears, peaches / nectarines, apricots / vegetables, cherries, sour cherries, strawberries and raspberries - up to BGN 250 / ha;

• Plums and table grapes - up to BGN 150 / ha;

• Wine vineyards - up to BGN 250 / ha;

• Oil-bearing rose - up to BGN 200 / ha;

• Agricultural crops (fruits and vegetables) below 100% of fallen areas due to unfavorable climatic events in 2020 - up to BGN 400 / ha.

The guidelines for state aid will be published on the website of the State Fund for Agriculture.
