Starting September 16, the phased de minimis payment for the Fruits, Vegetables, Vineyards and Oil Rose sector will begin. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Desislava Taneva at a meeting with agricultural producers in Petrich.
The SFA paid BGN 22 million under de minimis for livestock breeders
Checks on the submitted applications are currently being carried out.
"BGN 22 million have already been paid under this scheme to the breeders in the country. More than 4,100 beekeepers have also used de minimis funds in our country, "explained Minister Desislava Taneva.
According to her, in terms of control, the inspections are many times higher than the requirements of the European regulation.
"The results show that the levels of errors found in our country are below those of other member states," said Desislava Taneva, adding that the goal is to deflect attempts at fraud and to ensure that the funds go to the real agricultural manufacturers.
During his visit to the Pirin region, the Minister of Agriculture also met with livestock breeders in Razlog. The data show that 455 projects under the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 (RDP) have been approved for Blagoevgrad District. The investments are worth nearly BGN 128 million, of which about BGN 13 million are under municipal measures.
