More than 30 novelty procuts can be seen at the AGRA 2020 exhibition from February 19 to 23 in Plovdiv
The world's only multifunctional rose processing machine will premiere at the Agra 2020 International Agricultural Exhibition. Along with it, over thirty new products will be shown, the company announced.

A unique technical solution allows the machine to spray, prune, pick and transport the rose plants. The development is made by scientists from the Nikola Pushkarov Institute. They also offer an innovative method for cleansing agricultural land from heavy metals which uses plants that extract the harmful deposits.

The most significant scientific achievement of the Space Research and Technology Institute for 2019 will also be shown for the first time to Agra. It is an integrated system for remote sensing of the status of crops, which is new on a European scale. Agricultural land is recorded with a drone, and information is recorded and analyzed on a server.

European novelty is also an e-commerce platform for cereals, oilseeds and legumes developed by a Bulgarian company.
Among the other novelty products is the first Bulgarian sunflower hybrid, which through selection includes genetical resistance to the parasite „Orobanche“. The new variety is highly productive and high-fat, suitable for cultivation throughout the country. It is a product of the Dobrudzha Agricultural Institute - General Toshevo, which also offers winter feed barley for organic production.

A new barley variety, whose advantages are productivity, nutritional value and disease and drought resistance, has been developed by the Karnobat Agricultural Institute.

Four types of maize hybrids are designed to provide yield stability under different growing conditions and a very good yield. They are the work of the Corn Institute in Knezha.

Agricultural experts will also see the latest generation of technology, digital farm solutions, machinery, equipment, seeds and seedlings, fertilizers and preparations from leading Agra 2020 companies.
The focus of the exhibition this year is livestock. For the first time, bulls from the world's most famous meat breeds will be shown, with elite specimens being showed off each day in a special ring.

More than 40,000 visitors are expected to visit the International Agricultural Exhibition, and three of them will win awards from the Plovdiv International Fair. It also hosts the prestigious Vinaria Exhibition for Viticulture and Wine, Foodtech- for the Food Industry and Tastes from Italy.
