Veselina Ralcheva started her business in the year 2001 along with her husband. The two decided to take on growing roses and lavender. Initially, they started with only 20 acres of roses and 50 acres of lavender. In 2004, a time when organic farming in Bulgaria was still relatively unknown, she decided to take the risk by heading right into it. In 2009, she initiated the establishment of the Association of Bulgarian Bio-Producers, of which she also became a chairman. From 2006 to the present, her business has become a major livelihood for the local people. She shares how she constantly encourages the children of her workers to develop and to encourage the best. She has three children herself.

In 2019, the bioproducer prize is awarded for the first time and Veselina Ralcheva is the winner. It is the fruit of many years of efforts, but also a recognition of the contribution she has made to changing the perception of organic foods in Bulgaria. Through the Ralchevi Bio Gardens brand, she opened the business to the public and shows exactly how an organic farm works and how plants are grown. The company Facebook page captures all the steps from planting to harvesting. In 2017, when she paid a visit to one of the big supermarket chains in Bulgaria, Veselina saw that the price of bio potatoes is 5 lev/ kg, and she rose up to the task to make bio production more accessible to the masses. In 2019, 1000 acres of potatoes, 300 acres of melons, 100 acres of raspberries, 80 acres of organic cromids and 20 acres of zucchini are grown in Ralcheva's gardens. In the same year, they hit the market in a Metro supermarket, with the final price of the products being about twice lower than those of other brands of organic products.
